Started as a journalist ( Associate Editor CHINGKHEI HUNBA  journal, an accredited journalist of Manipur, former Joint Secretary of AMWJU ),
He stepped in development sector, fully engaged in advocacy works for promotion and protection of child rights  in the state of Manipur since 2004.

Worked in different capacities, as  Convener MACR, Fellow CRY (CHILD RIGHTS and YOU), Chairperson Child Welfare Committee and Member Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR).
